Databases for nanotechnology information

OECD Database on Research into the Safety of Manufactured Nanomaterials
The objective of this database is to develop a global resource, which identifies research projects that address human health and environmental safety (EHS) issues associated with manufactured nanomaterials. It will build on the database of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars: Nanotechnology Health and Environmental Implications: An Inventory of Current Research.

EHS database provided by ICON (International Council of Nanotechnology).
The Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) database contains summaries (abstracts) and citations for research papers related to the EHS implications of nanoscale materials

EUPHIX is a web-based knowledge system for health professionals, policy makers and others. It presents structured European public health information, giving a special insight into similarities and differences between EU Member States.

SAFENANO provided by the Institute of Occupational Health (UK) is a searchable database on reports, journal articles and magazine articles; SAFENANO provides information on nanotechnology health and safety

Nanotechnology Risk Resources is provided by the University of Wisconsin-Madison and contains references to papers, articles, and books on (or related to) potential health and environmental risks of nanomaterials sorted by material or compound, body organ or biological effect studied, or other miscellaneous issues.

Nanoparticle Information Library (NIL) provided by NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health) helps occupational health professionals, industrial users, worker groups, and researchers to organize and share information on nanomaterials, including their health and safety-associated properties.

The Nano Archive is part of the ICPCNanoNet project, funded by the EU under FP7 for four years from 1st June 2008 (contract number 218282). It provides free access to published nanoscience research in the EU and International Cooperation Partner Countries also related to Environment, health and safety aspects of nanotechnology.
